Submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) was my introduction to Davinci Resolve.
After being inspired by a few movies and real footage I wanted to take my shot on creating a sea launched missile. I first created the sea simulation in Blender which then I baked the waves and white water/foam to a sequence of displacement maps.

I decided to go with Houdini for the water splash simulation and used Clarisse FX to handle all the particles and render them into different image sequences to use in planes. Kinda of a cheat to help with the scene's size.

The smoke simulation was made in Embergen.
